Chevrolet Silverado Hitting 1 Million Miles?

A Wisconsin man says his Chevrolet Silverado is going to hit 1 million miles...

I think the most surprising aspect of this is that it's only a 1991 model year Silverado. He's been putting about 85,000 miles a year on it since he bought it used in 1996.

I don't know how much he paid for his 5 year old Chevrolet Silverado, or what trim level it was. But, for the sake of arguement let's assume it was $9,000. That's .009 a mile (a bit less than a penny). Not bad.

If you're looking for a Volkswagen dealer around Enfield, CT, you should check out Lia Volkswagen. I was passing through Enfield, and as I often do (oddly enough) while traveling is stop into car dealerships. I've worked at a few and have always had a passion for cars.

Anyway, I was really impressed. I stopped in because the dealership itself looks amazing (kudos to the architect) but the salespeople I talked to were very nice and had a ton of knowledge on the Volkswagen brand.

Give them a try if you're in the market for a new or used car.

Dodge Challenger SRT8 Pamphlet

Head on over to Jalopnik for some scans of a pamphlet for the Dodge Challenger SRT8. Word is that they've been confirmed as actually photos of the production version of the Dodge Challenger. There's a lot of interest in this vehicle. The orange is my style, but the black (in that photo showing 3 different color variations) has "badass" written all over it.

10 Things Never To Say To A Car Salesman

Did you see the top 10 things you should never say to a car salesman here? They list things like:
"I'll take whatever the popular options are", "Oh, I've wanted one of these all my life,"and "I'm ready to buy now."

Surprisingly, the below was not present:
1 - How many bodies can I fit in the trunk?
2 - If I were to put this in my garage, how long would it take to fill up with carbon monoxide?
3 - If I were to return it, would you take a blacklight to the upholstery?
4 - How fast would it sink in a lake?

How did they miss these?

Mitsubishi's Double Shotz Hot Wheels Concept!

This is a sweet looking car, even if it's only big enough for G.I.Joe to drive. Hot Wheels ran a design contest, and the Mitsubishi Double Shotz was one of the winners (thanks to the folks at Jim Norton Mitsubishi of Tulsa for the heads up), so while you will be able to purchase this, you won't find it at a dealer, but rather you're local toy store.

It's an awesome design, and I'd love to see this produced for the road!
